Ibrahim Hassan

Executive Director

Ibrahim Hassan is the co-founder and Executive Director of AIHI, he is a health and Human Rights’ Activist who has contributed and made lot of impact in HIV and human right response particularly among vulnerable and marginalised groups in Nigeria.

He is currently a member of the National KP secretariat and also an executive member of the Nigeria MSMTG network. Ibrahim works to ensure policy reform, adequate access to health care and right services, justice, as well as social acceptance for marginalised and vulnerable individuals Nigeria. Ibrahim Hassan holds a Bsc. In International relations and a master degree in Development studies all from Bayero University Kano. He is a hardworking and diligent person who pays attention to details and always ready to help young people grow in their life pursuit.

Ibrahim is a KP Program specialist with certificates, he has over 8 years’ experience, skills and knowledge in key areas such as research, KP health and right programming, management and administration, documentation, Data entry and management. He also has experience and passion in capacity building, psychosocial counselling, mental health support and networking among community members

These experiences are with several projects with Implementing Partners such as the most recent ones; Global Fund HIV (optimizing HIV investment for Impact) Project, Global Fund HIV New Funding Model and its Extension all under Society For Family Health (SFH) as Major PR alongside other IPs and relevant stakeholders. He has significant experience in advocacy to government, health care sectors, community stakeholders, government agencies, civil society organization and community based organization. He has worked to strengthen KP community, government and partner structures in Northern Nigeria.

 

Fatima Balarabe Umar's

Programme Manager

Fatima Balarabe Umar is a Geographer as well as a social Health Worker. Her expertise is in the field of research and program management. She is confident, approachable and experienced community development worker with a special interest in health issues.

Fatima Balarabe Umar is currently a program Manager in charge of organizing and developing activities, and support strategic directions in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.

Michael Oluwafemi Maliki

Finance Manager

Michael Oluwafemi Maliki, is a Social Developmental Worker in the field of Finance, Account and Audit. Work with all cluster of Key and general population. He has B.Sc. in Accounting from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, Edo State he also obtained postgraduate professional diploma certificate in accounting from Nigerian College of Accountancy, Jos-Nigeria. He is a charted Certify National Accountant with membership Number: 22750 CAN And a member of ICAN-In view.

Michael is a member of Certify Financial Analysis with membership number: 730.Furthermore, a fellow of institute of professional entrepreneurs & strategic administration of Nigeria (IPESA).

Saeed Abubakar Aliyu's

I was born in January 1994 and has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, from Kano university of science and technology, wudil.

Saeed is a human right activist, community volunteer and social health worker with certificates.

He is currently the program officer for sustainable skills and empowerment project. At AIHI

 

Hassana Adamu

finance and Admin officer

Hassana Adamu is a Sociologist as well as a social Health Worker. She is hardworking, adaptable, flexible and conformable.

She hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting and Finance and Masters in Crime Management and Prevention from Bayero University, Kano and Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. She also have high proficiency in QuickBooks.

She currently work with Achievers Improved Health Initiative (AIHI) as the finance and Admin officer.
